James A. Fetch
Head of Portfolio Construction
Mr. Fetch is Head of Portfolio Construction on the Global Asset Allocation (GAA) team. He is responsible for portfolio construction and risk management of GAA portfolios. His work also contributes to Putnam’s Capital Markets Outlook. Mr. Fetch is a member of Putnam’s Diversity Advisory Council. He has been in the investment industry since joining Putnam in 1994. After leaving in 1998 to complete his M.B.A., Mr. Fetch rejoined the firm in 2000.
In addition, Mr. Fetch is a portfolio manager of Putnam Dynamic Asset Allocation Funds (Balanced,
Conservative, and Growth); Putnam Multi-Asset Income Fund; Putnam Multi-Asset Model Portfolios; Putnam Retirement Advantage Funds; Putnam Sustainable Retirement Funds; and Putnam 529 for America. Previously at Putnam, he served in various investment roles within GAA, including as Co-Head of GAA.
