Mr. Rives is a Portfolio Manager of Putnam Research Fund and the Portfolio Manager of Putnam BioRevolution™ ETF, which focuses on companies at the intersection of technology and biology. In addition, Mr. Rives is an Analyst covering the health care and utilities sectors. He is responsible for conducting fundamental analysis, developing insights on material sustainability issues, assessing valuations, and making buy/sell recommendations for companies in the medical technology and life sciences industries and all companies in the utilities sector. Previously at Putnam, Mr. Rives served as an Equity Associate, covering multiple sectors. He has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 2013.
